EU institutions waiting & preparing for black-outs

This winter may be tough … at least in Belgium. The power grid is undersized and obsolete. So people should be prepared for black-outs coming. That´s what Belgian media are writing for a months. And EU institutions innocently trust it. The Parliament, the Council and the Commission today published a call for the purchase of fuel oil for the heating and the emergency power generators. There is  800,000 euros in the budget, which- at a price of € 1.5 per liter – is 533,000 liters. fuel
