Marketing and communications campaign for the ‘Authentic Caribbean rum’ marque in European and North American markets is going to be paid by the EU money. 5.200.000 euros (!!!) from the European Development Fund should be used on “creating, managing and implementing an integrated marketing and communications campaign, predominantly to trade customers and influencers in the drinks trade, to promote the ‘Authentic Caribbean rum’”. The mark is owned by the trade association representing these brands: Wirspa, but the official contracting authority could be the Caribbean Forum of ACP States. Good to know it.
