Details: Comprehensive ICT Administration support and expertise in implementing and managing solutions within the ETF ICT environment. Services involve systems administration tasks, such as setting up, maintaining, migrating, resolving issues, and supporting software and hardware systems. The services are usually provided outside of the ETF’s premises remotely. Some technical interventions (such as installations, technical analysis) may need to be done on site at the ETF’s premises in Torino, Italy.

OBJECTIVE OF THE SERVICE:  This procurement procedure seeks to identify a service provider who can provide comprehensive ICT Administration support and expertise in implementing and managing solutions within the ETF ICT environment. These services involve systems administration tasks, such as setting up, maintaining, migrating, resolving issues, and supporting software and hardware systems.

The services of this procurement procedure are activities of a complex nature requiring elevated level of technical expertise to ensure the good functioning of the ETF ICT environment and to implement solutions; they should resource, complement (in terms of workload), support and back-up the activities of ETF’s ICT staff, and more specifically of the ICT Systems administrators. Note that it excludes ETF’s wired and wireless networks and telecommunication services, managed by other contractors, though some knowledge in these areas is necessary to undertake the services.

The service provider must have a strong understanding of the systems running in the ETF ICT environment (Ref. to section 2.1 ETF ICT Environment Profile), and a proven record of delivering successful projects in the area of ICT Systems Administration.

The services are usually provided outside of the ETF’s premises (‘remote’), either at the service provider’s or the consultant’s place. However, some meetings or technical interventions may need to be done at the ETF’s premises (‘on-site’) for specific tasks like installations, technical analysis, or other actions that need on-site presence.

The estimated volume for the required services described this tender procedure is expected to be 80 person-days annually, with each person-day consisting of 8 hours excluding lunch break.

ETF ICT Environment Profile

The ETF ICT Environment Profile document features a comprehensive setup of on-premises and cloud systems in use at the ETF, focusing on network infrastructure, security, and client devices. The environment is managed through various tools and services to ensure efficient operation and protection against cyber threats.

The document is available upon request and with the execution of a confidentiality agreement found in Annex D. The request, accompanied by a signed confidentiality agreement, needs to be made to procurement@etf.europa.eu.
