Provision of Services and Equipemnt related to ICT Networks and Audio/Video Systems

Contracting authority: FRONTEX (European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union, Warsaw)

Framework contract (FWC) for 4 years with estimated value of €4.200.000 to €6.300.000

Deadline: 6/7

The following services are envisaged to be ordered under this FWC:

a. Service operation including: i. Administration and support of the ICT IP Networks ii. Hardware Maintenance iii. Infrastructure cabling services iv. Provision of Help Desk services for performing 1st line support

b. Service transition including: i. Supporting ICT enabled projects ii. Preparing, planning and performing proactive and corrective changes to ICT IP Networks iii. Transition of platforms from design and implementation into operations

c. Service design including: i. Implementing new IP networks ii. Create or update network documentation, policies and procedures

Key Competencies

Performance of this FWC requires from the Contractors professional capacities, expertise, experience and availability of workforce in the following domains (not exhaustively listed):

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP network and security communication services

• Advice and/or propose possible network security improvements, changes or upgrades

• Create and update the technical documentation, polices and operating procedures

• Provide 2nd line support to Frontex system and network users

• Provide 1st line support to Frontex audio/video solutions

• Propose network solutions and design for disaster recovery purposes and emergency scenarios

• Accompany and oversee deployments and configuration changes and methods to ensure minimum

network and services disruption

• Evaluate local area network or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems/issues, future network strategy, or for disaster recovery purposes

• Maintain an inventory of IP Network property and assets

• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP Voice communication devices

• Networking HW maintenance
