Call: Organisation of a digital fashion presentation

Contracting Authority: The International Trade Centre (ITC), a joint subsidiary organ of the United Nations and the World Trade Organization,

Deadline: Wednesday, 28 October 2020 – 11pm (Geneva time).

Objectives of the project: As part of the EFI Accelerator, EFI (The Ethical Fashion Initiative – a flagship programme of the ITC) was planning to showcase the work of the first six designers that were selected to be part of the programme in an international show such as Pitti l’Uomo, Paris Fashion Week, etc. These designers, all based in African cities, include four gender-neutral ready-to-wear and two accessory designers. Given the global shift due to COVID-19 towards more sustainable promotional activities (less waste, lower carbon footprint, etc.) ITC/EFI aim to organize a fully digital fashion presentation for an event that will be taking place in January 2021.

The Objectives of the successful contractor are to: Organize all aspects of and deliver a digital fashion presentation for an event that will take place in January 2021. This includes;

 Logistics management

 Photography

 Invitation management

 Organization of live stream

 Creation of a virtual show

 Creation of video content for each of the six (6) designers out of the above materials

Pre-requisites:

1) mandatory requirements:

 Acceptance of ITC/ UN General Terms and Conditions

 Have the ability to prepare and carry out all activities and deliverables in professional English; Able to produce all materials in future contracts in professional English

 Experience in organizing digital fashion presentations or other similar digital events.

2) Desirable expertise:

 Experience in working with designers from so-called developing countries;

 Experience in working and organizing digital fashion presentations or other similar digital events in so-called developing countries.
