General objectives: By the present procurement procedure, EIT UM is seeking professional support for the graphic design of promotional and communication materials related to the Mobility Innovation Marketplace (“Marketplace”), by appointing a profession provider (hereinafter being referred to as “provider”). This document, along with its annexes, constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for a potential procurement of graphic design services, and web design and UX/UI.
EIT Urban Mobility is seeking to contract support to work closely with the department responsible for the Mobility Innovation Marketplace. The Marketplace is the digital platform showcasing innovative urban mobility solutions that have a high potential for environmental, social, and economic impact. The objective is supporting mobility innovators in raising traffic for their solutions, generating commercial leads to scale and deploy their products or services in new cities and offering extended services to all platform users find the right solutions and/or opportunities to scale.
The Marketplace fulfils the following tasks:
• Finding commercial mobility solutions and opportunities for development, deployment or investment.
• Connecting solution providers with solution seekers.
• Finding new sources of funding
• Facilitating deployment of new solutions in real life contexts (including pilots and longer-term implementations).
• Enabling market scaling of solutions that have demonstrated positive impact (i.e., best practices).
• Positioning its portfolio solutions as market benchmarks.
Diverse content is provided to address both suppliers (solution provider) as well as demand side (solution seeker) contacts. There are currently 5 content types:
• Mobility Products, featuring the most innovative solutions providing sustainable mobility in cities.
• Best Practices, presenting the latest success stories of pilots and implementations of urban mobility solutions.
• Market opportunities, piloting, and implementation opportunities available for mobility innovators to bring their solutions to the market.
• Insights, a neutral mobility knowledge focussed section providing the latest articles and news on the sector, from regulatory changes to the arrival of new cutting-edge technology.
• Physical Internet Observatory, a platform providing expert insights on market trends, regulatory dynamics, and innovative solutions poised to shape the future of urban logistics.
The ambition for the Marketplace is to become the reference platform in the sector for finding innovation in mobility. The platform was launched in Nov 2021 and seen rapid growth since then.
EIT UM is looking for a creative and digital design service provider (graphic design and consultancy on web design and UX/UI) who can support EIT UM during. The support shall be focused on the creation, refinement, and alignment of materials promoting mobility solutions (including Marketplace Catalogue and solution factsheets) and, where relevant, provide consultancy to support improvements to Marketplace web design and UX/UI.
Payment terms: Available maximum yearly fund for the requested services is outlined below (VAT is excluded from the figures provided) applicable to each year of 2026*, 2027*, and 2028*.
