Call for EIT Campus platform tool development ’26-28

Request for proposal: EIT Campus platform tool development ’26-28

EIT Urban Mobility, Barcelona (HQ)

Deadline for submission: 27 February 2026

By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility (EIT UM), is seeking professional support for development and implementation of the EIT Campus platform, by appointing a web developer provider.

The EIT Campus is an online platform funded by the European Commission through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). It brings together training programmes from across the EIT Community, focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills for the green and digital transitions. In 2026–2028, its main objective is to address pressing skills gaps and shortages that hinder Europe’s productivity and competitiveness, in line with EU priorities such as the Union of Skills, the STEM Education Strategic Plan, and the EU Start-up and Scale-up Strategy.

To achieve this, the EIT Campus pursues strategic objectives to become Europe’s central hub for innovation and entrepreneurship education:

Integrate KICs’ education offerings into a single, user-friendly platform, expanding access to new professional profiles, notably startup founders and employees, and breaking industry silos.

Develop a quality assurance framework for learning pathways to enable credentialisation and integration into skills passports.

Enhance visibility and market relevance of learning outcomes and transferable skills through skills intelligence and strategic partnerships.

Establish financial sustainability through diversified revenue streams, including B2C and B2B models, and tools that increase platform attractiveness and traffic.

A key enabler of these objectives is the Tool Development workstream, which will continue to evolve the platform to better integrate KIC offerings, expand course availability, and improve user experience.

Key focus areas include:

User Experience & Interface: Testing UX/UI approaches with real users for intuitive navigation, seamless course delivery, and personalized learning pathways.

Quality Assurance & Skills Recognition: Strengthening course review processes, consolidating high-quality courses into learning pathways, aligning with EIT Label standards, and enabling skill identification via microcredentials, shareable badges, and interactive Skills Development Guides.

Learner Progress & Personalization: Providing automated guidance on skills needs, recommended courses, and progression tracking, with dedicated spaces for startups.

Data Integration & Impact Measurement: Connecting platform data with KIC and stakeholder data to monitor user journeys and evaluate impact.

Innovation & Sustainability: Piloting premium accounts, leveraging AI to enhance automation and learning experiences, and maintaining flexibility for future enhancements.
